مهرجان موسيقي

المهرجان الموسيقي هو مهرجان يركز على الموسيقى وقد يكون له موضوع معين مثل نوع موسيقي ما أو بلد ما أو منطقة ما أو عيد أو مناسبة ما.[1][2][3] وعادة ما يعقد بالخارج في الهواء الطلق، وكثيرا ما يضم عوامل أخرى مثل الطعام وبيع السلع وفن الآداء والأنشطة الاجتماعية. الكثير من المهرجانات الموسيقية تعقد سنويا، أو تكرر في مراحل منتظمة أخرى. وعلى الصعيد الآخر، بعضها، وخصيصا بعض مهرجانات الروك، تعقد مرة واحدة فقط. بعض المهرجانات تعقد للربح وبعضها تعقد لإعانة قضية ما. ونوع آخر من المهرجان الموسيقي هو المهرجان المنظم بهدف تسليط الضوء على فرق محلية أو المواهب الشابة، لمصلحة الهواة والنجوم الصاعدة.
