محفز الحبل الشوكي

محفز الحبل الشوكي أو مشجع الحبل الشوكي (بالإنجليزية: spinal cord stimulator)‏ هو جهاز يستخدم لتسليط إشارات كهربائية نابضة إلى الحبل الشوكي للسيطرة على الألم المزمن. بالإضافة إلى تطبيقات اخرى في مجال الاضطرابات الحركية. الحبل الشوكي القطني هو الهدف المفضل للتحكم في التشنج الشوكي [1][2] أو تكبير وزيادة القدرة على الحركة أو الوقوف لدى المرضى.[3][4][5][6]
