هانز يواكيم مرسيليا

هانز يواكيم مرسيليا ( تلفظ ألماني: [hans joˈaχɪm mɑrˈseɪ] ؛ 13 ديسمبر 1919 - 30 سبتمبر 1942) كان طيارًا مقاتلًا ألمانيًا للوفتفافه وطيار بطل خلال الحرب العالمية الثانية. اشتهر بمعاركه الجوية خلال حملة شمال أفريقيا وأسلوب حياته البوهيمي. أحد أنجح الطيارين المقاتلين، أطلق عليه لقب " نجمة إفريقيا ". حقق مرسيليا جميع انتصاراته الـ158 ضد سلاح الجو الصحراوي التابع للكومنولث البريطاني فوق شمال أفريقيا، باستثناء سبعة، وحلّق بمقاتلة مسرشميت بي اف 109 طوال حياته القتالية. لم يطالب أي طيار آخر بعدد طائرات الحلفاء الغربية مثل مرسيليا.

انضمت مرسيليا، من أصل فرنسي هوغونوتيون، إلى لوفتفافه في عام 1938. في سن العشرين، تخرج من واحدة من مدارس لوفتفافه التجريبية الرائدة في الوقت المناسب للمشاركة في معركة بريطانيا، دون نجاح ملحوظ. كشخص ساحر، كان لديه حياة ليلية مزدحمة لدرجة أنه كان متعبًا في بعض الأحيان بحيث لا يسمح له بالطيران في صباح اليوم التالي. نتيجة لضعف الانضباط، تم نقله إلى Jagdgeschwader 27 (Fighter Wing 27 ، JG 27)، الذي انتقل إلى شمال أفريقيا في أبريل 1941.
