محركات الألعاب هي أدوات متاحة لمصممي الألعاب لتدوين وتخطيط لعبة بسرعة وسهولة دون إنشاء لعبة جديدة من الألف إلى الياء. سواءً أكانت ثنائية أو ثلاثية الأبعاد، فهي توفر أدوات للمساعدة في إنشاء الأصول وتعيينها.
