آرا باسيس
آرا باسيس أغسطس (باللاتينية، "مذبح أغسطس السلام"، يقصر عادًة آرا باسيس) هو مذبح في روما مخصص لباكس، وآلهة الرومان من السلام. تم تكليف هذا النصب من قبل مجلس الشيوخ الروماني في 4 يوليو 13 ق.م. لتكريم عودة أغسطس إلى روما بعد ثلاث سنوات في هسبانيا وبلاد الغال.[1] وتم تكريسها في 30 يناير ق.م.[2] يقع في الأصل على المشارف الشمالية لروما، على بعد ميل روماني من حدود البوميريوم على الجانب الغربي من فيا فلامينيا،[3] تواجد آرا باسيس في الركن الشمالي الشرقي من كامبس مارتيوس، حدث فيضان في نهر التيبر مما دفنه تدريجيًا تحت 4 متر (13 قدم) من رواسب الطمي. أعيد تجميعه في موقعه الحالي، فيما يُعرف الآن بمتحف آرا باسيس، في عام 1938.
