مستعر أعظم مخادع

المستعر الأعظم المخادع هو انفجار نجمي الذي يظهر للوهلة الأولى وكأنة أحد أنواع المستعر الأعظم ولكن النجم السلف لا يتدمر وهى فئة من المستعرات الإضافية القوية. وتعرف ايضا بمستعرات نوع V .نظير إيتا القاعدة ، والانفجارات العملاقة الناتجة عن المتغيرات الزرقاء شديدة الضياء من ضمن هذه الفئة.[2]

في 31 مايو 2010 رصد مستعر أعظم مخادع في مجرة إن جي سي 3184 SN 2010dn.[1]
