كتار أو كتارا [1] [2] [3] هو نوع من أنواع خناجر الدفع من شبه القارة الهندية . [4] يتميز السلاح بقبضته اليدوية الأفقية على شكل حرف H والتي ينتج عنها وضع الشفرة فوق مفاصل أصابع المستخدم. وهو أشهر الخناجر الهندية وأكثرها تميزًا. [5] كما استُخدمت الكتارات الاحتفالية في العبادة. [6]
