ولد في قرية فاليا البا في Războieni في رومانيا، بين 1942 و 1943 عمل في وزارة الشؤون الخارجية في رومانيا كسكرتير سفير، تم اعتقاله عام 1944، وخرج بعد الحرب العالمية الثانية
