اللهجات اليونانية القديمة

في اليونان القديمة في الفترة الكلاسيكية القديمة، قبل تطوير وإنشاء اليونانية العامية المختلطة (koiné) كانت اللغة العامة في العصر الهلنستي مقسمة إلي عدة لهجات. أغلبها عُرفت فقط من النقوش، لكن قليل منها، خصيصاً اليونانية الدوريكية، اليونانية الأيونيكية، اليونانية الأيوليكية، كانت أيضا ممثلة في المكتبة الأدبية جنباً إلى جنب مع الأدب اليوناني بـالأتيكية. وبالمثل، تنقسم اللغة اليونانية الحديثة إلى عدة لهجات، معظمها مستمد من اللغة الكوينه اليونانية.
